I haven't seen this. I know that many (if not all?) of the clubs are organized as nonprofits, and at least some have bylaws that specifically forbid compensating directors / board members.

Some budget goes to financial aid (but not nearly enough, as has been discussed on this board.)

So... just because the clubs are nonprofits doesn't mean they don't take in more than they spend, so maybe they have major cash reserves at some of the bigger clubs? Just guessing.

But in theory nobody is "raking it in" on an individual level -- which isn't to say that a problem of same or similar value couldn't be offered at a lower cost by someone more budget-conscious.
