My kids have earned the test scores and grades and taken on the challenging coursework and extracurriculars to be good candidates for Tech. Now this school won’t be able to offer what is generally considered a expected feature: guaranteed housing for freshman. Will my students have to enroll at a slightly less competitive school, in order to get housing. It’s frustrating that these are the kinds of choices folks will be facing due to incredibly poor planning by Tech.

2. They will no doubt have to make the admissions next year even more competitive, to make up for the huge screw up this year. This major correction will mean the class of 2020 will have a ridiculously high hurdle to scale.
