Well, we live in the suburbs so I don’t know about cool city people, but almost all the moms I know drive minivans or Subaru’s, and most of the dads drive those Middle Aged Man dad trucks. No Volvo’sx
Same. I must be living amongst The Poors. Everyone near me has a Honda Odyssey or Pilot, Toyota Sienna, Rav4, or Highlander, or some sort of Subaru. The lawyers and real estate agents have BMWs or Mercedes.
Yeah, I know, all that area, people are renting and saving for a home so they are driving crap. It kind of changes when you move in a stable neighborhood and then you will see better brands coming in and out the hood because otherwise they park inside so you don't see good cars outside at all.
I live in a neighborhood of all single family homes with large garages, very few renters, and almost every family has a minivan + either a Dad Truck or a smaller commuter car. Can't think of anyone with a Volvo of any kind (and I do car line every day at elementary and preschool). Sorry to bust your theory.
