Listen, comics are rife with those kind of silly inconsistencies, that's why they have "Crisis on Infinite Earth" and Spider-verse type events.  Just let it slide and enjoy an entertaining flick.

You are quite right. I feel like they tried to bring rhyme and reason(in couple of scenes) to ....superhero comics...Which involve a suspension of scientific belief and love for the nonsense of it all. I will not think about the how and what if, after all they are doing fan service, in this part at least one branch of Disney is clear on what the fans want, unlike Luke Skywalker throwing his lightsaber, trying to kill his nephew, being a hologram, and Princess Leah becoming Marry Poppins in space.
