BW and Hulk were like middle schoolers- they liked each other, so they avoided each other as much as possible.

It was pretty clear in the first few movies that BW and Hawkeye were meant to be a couple, but then they randomly decided to give Hawkeye a family out of nowhere and paired BW up with Hulk, because heaven forbid we have a woman without a man to pine over.

It’s really a shame how they treated BW. We know she had a dark past where she did terrible things and has been seeking redemption, and had she been treated as a main character, they could have had a really interesting arc where she finally gets that redemption by sacrificing herself. [/quote]

Although I should add- I don’t think BW is dead permanently. I think that since the soul stone was returned and therefore never actually taken, she comes back but in a different form. Like Gamora- since Thanos never took the stone, she got to come back, but as a past version of herself. My guess is that the upcoming BW movie is about how BW comes back, possibly as her old Soviet persona. [/quote]
