My son was totally lazy in school....even dropped out of college. His father and I let him live at home free as long as he worked. About 2 years from high school graduation, he found his niche. He then worked full time, went to college, and lived on his own, and graduated number one in his class. He has continued to take advantage of any training available to him. He is now in a job he loves, makes great money and is one promotion away from being the head honcho.....which he has already been promised. Some kids need time to find themselves, mature and decide what they love. I get so anxious for kids when I read threads here about expectations.[/quote]
