This did not happen to your friend. You have to be separated before filing for divorce in Italy and if she vacationed with him, she wasn’t separated. Additionally, over two nonresidents of Italy, Italy would not have jurisdiction. Passport seizures only happen when the passport owner is suspected of committing a crime. Even if adultery is criminal where it occurred in the us, would not be enough. You’re either purposefully misrepresenting the facts, misunderstanding or misconstruing them.

As for the rest of your post which, among other things, suggests a woman have sex with her husband, get pregnant and have the baby in an attempt to keep her marriage, regardless of the fact that the husband doesn’t want to be married to her, is appalling. Calling 911 when your spouse is upset?  You really need to run, not walk, to a therapist. You have no idea what a mature relationship looks like. [/quote]
