You think parents don't get joy from infants before they can talk? And yeah, yeah I get it, dogs aren't babies, but the analogy of articulation stands. Dogs can show physical affection and loyalty and the relationship some people have with their pets provides happiness, stress relief, and emotional support. There are literally emotional support dogs. Maybe not for you, but *gasp* everyone is different. [/quote]
