Neil Patrick Harris turned out fine. So did Mandy Moore, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
Accept for Neil - all of them stopped working basically when they turned 30. Which is fine - they're sitting on piles of cash. But you have to wonder why? That's what I mean by burnt out.
What? No, they are all still working. Justin is on tour, Mandy is on a TV show and Christina is going to do a residency in Vegas.
PP apparently lives under a rock. Adding to the mix, Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Johnny Galecki, etc. You may not be aware that they've each had middling success as an adult. Poor guys can't get past their child star status.
For all the ones who "turned out fine", you have Amanda Bynes, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne...
The Coreys, Aaron Carter, Dustin Diamond, Lark Vorhees, River Pheonix, Dana Plato, Brad Renfro, Jonathan Brandis, many many more. A lot of the ones who flame out die, so they aren't remembered that well. I think the Culkin kids are examples of one's who really found their way through to the other side. All seem to be doing ok today, although McCauley I think had a lot of problems in his teens.
