Totally get why you are keeping your options open, OP. Good luck as you work through your decision and try to figure out what's best for your kids and family. Folks who are mad about Inspired not moving the kindergarten waitlist early in the summer last year - this is one (of many) scenarios that could cause that to happen.
But ITS is very different from other schools in how its K wailist moves.
It was only last year that ITS had the infamous heavy August waitlist movement. Let us see if it happens again or if it was a fluke.
No, it was a lot in 17-18 too.
In 17-18 (as well as 18-19) it was only their K class that moved a lot from August to October. No other grade moved crazy spots from Aug to Oct so that should tell you that it's an anomaly and not standard practice, otherwise we'd see similar patterns in other grades. 2017-18 ITS called 31 spots on WL for K. Same period: DCB called 11 CMI called 14 Haynes called 21 Bridges called 32 MV called 12 (but they called 35 in 2018-19) TR4 called 15 (but they called 39 in first) and 31 in 1st for 2018-19 I'm sorry, I just don't see a plot on ITS' behalf. If you have other patterns you are seeing, please share.
