I'm a vegetarian, and I lost weight by cutting our dairy and refined sugars. This lead to a drastic decrease in processed foods, and I inevitably ate healthier, more whole foods. You can do this! As others have suggested, just add more healthy fats into your diet like no sugar nut butters and avocados, and if you are really need of more protein, there's always vegan protein powders. Then do some cardio to lose a little weight, but really rely on strength training with weights. You won't be able to trust the scale because muscle weighs more than fat, but you'll easily notice a difference with the way you look and your clothes fit.
. Np here. I get hung up on what exactly to add the nut butter and avocado to. I love sandwiches and wraps, but the bread adds carbs, right? How do you consumed nut butters and avocado, etc?
I like dipping apple slices into nut butter. I eat sliced avocado with egg or on a salad.
These are good choices. I make egg and chicken salad with avocado and little/no mayo. I love to slice up a small avocado, sprinkle on some flavored salt and have it for a snack.
