Exactly. Why are people so obcessed with their kids getting into an Ivy League school when there are other , better schools for their child to attend? [/quote]

My theory is that they are from countries where the school are literally academically ranked. It is so different here than in most of the world and some people can't believe you can go to a no name college and end up CEO or managing partner of a big international law firm. You can.[/quote]
