I had a 3/4 mile commute for 20 years and drove my BMW 5 Series or my Caddie. Walking is for hobos
I'm sure you're in great health, both physical and mental. You're probably also really fun to be around.
+1 Post your BMI.
I am actually in excellent health. I did take car cause walking is selfish. My wife for most of that 20 years had kids at home. To walk ment leaving 10-15 minutes earlier and coming late and sticking her with the extra work of getting kids up and out door and dealing with dinner. Also if wife texted me to get milk, go to drugstore, heck Friday get pizza with car I could run errand and not first go home. As I drive and see folks walking and biking I think how lazy of them. They could be helping spouse, parents, in-laws, doing charity work, maintaining house, going to church all sorts of productive things, instead they dress up like idiots in bright yellow on 1,000 bikes and block traffic. Only saving grace is Darwins law and they will eventually crash
