That might be true for a car but school buses are another matter. My kid takes the bus from school to their daycare which is under 1 mile. It takes the bus 40 minutes from the time school gets out to when it drops off on any given day. It's faster to walk. [/quote]

There's something wrong with your child's bus then. My child's birthday school gets out at 3:25 and is home by 3:45. Our ES is 5 miles away. Maybe your child's bus arrives late to the school or something. [/quote]
