Not an accurate statement.  Most recent data indicates that 42% of people here illegally overstayed their visas.  That is not the majority. 
Congress members who have taken the time to go to the southern border have seen the problem first hand.  And, they see that people are coming across at unprotected areas on a continuous basis.  [/quote]
Yes.. and that's not a new thing.  It's been happening since the US became a country.

As has been stated numerous times, those folks come here because they can get jobs. Kill the demand. The supply will dry out.
