If you don't want to go through a lot of effort, that's the best bang for your buck. But I like working in the garden and have great luck with bell peppers, cucumbers, and tomato plants. A few 3$ plants produce enough to make it worth it all summer. Green beans I do from seed, super cheap and easy. I've given up on zucchini after 3 failed years. [/quote]
