There are definitely many newly minted multimillionaires form each class and some billionaires too. So it allows kids to start the career on a great trajectory. Some people fall off along the way at various points. They may develop an addiction or get sick. They may also choose a non lucrative career or choose not to work. They may become regular employees or government workers. But walking out of ivy almost everyone has the opportunity to pick a fully loaded high socioeconomic path that is not available to other graduates. The ivy recent grads in this area have for the most part have rejected that path so looking at your local neighbors and saying they are regular most of them opted out to do something DC oriented as at he point of graduation. If you are choosing to go to the government or a job affiliated with the government the student has made a choice to not maximize earned income but something else[/quote]
