I am a hardcore feminist and I LOVE Cardi B. You don't have to agree with everything she says/does to appreciate her joy and her outrageous authenticity. I think she's great for teens. It takes many types of role models.
 Cardi B a role model? Please give me what ever it is you are are smoking? Cardi B perpetuates and capitalizes on every negative stereotype about Latinas. She is vile and does us a disservice. She has set us way back. It is going to take someone like Gloria Estefan, Celia Cruz, or Shakira to redeem the horror that is Cardi B. Some folks really adore seeing us brown folks behaving like low class degenerates. Sigh! Cardi B is basically selling soft core porn laced in catchy beats. She is the female version of 2 Live Crew. Remember those guys? OP, do not allow your daughter to attend a Cardi B concert. Her concerts are heavily attended by men on the prey. I do not care about adults attending her concert, but a 14 year should not be at a Cardi B concert. Hell no you should not let your 14 year old go! OP, I agree with the poster who mentioned that if your daughter is videotaped saying the n-word or other vile language at the concert for all the world to see, then it could have serious consequences. Folks are now getting fired from jobs because of crap they did back in high school. The same PC culture which tells you that it is okay for your daughter to sing Cardi B lyrics will be the same culture who will ostracize her and your parental choices if she is caught on tape. If she is white and gets recorded saying the n-word, then will you be okay if folks start to label her a racist? This is the reality that we are living in today. Words and actions do have consequences.
I think possibly you need to review the Cardi B feminism explainer and also possibly the work of Shakira because what?
