I don't have a kid at Marshall and I'm not sensitive.  The pp said she hated the gratuitous attacks on TJ kids and families, and I pointed out what was a contributing factor to those things on this thread.  I teach my kids that even if something is true, you don't need to say it if it will come off as an insult to others.  OP could have just congratulated the TJ girls without bringing in the side show.  I'm not originally from this area so know that not going to TJ won't likely adversely impact a kid going to Marshall.  In fact, many Marshall student will end up at UVA like a big segment of TJ kids.  Carry on with pointing out how academically superior TJ kids are and that others aren't, all on a thread about basketball.  SMH.[/quote]
