Most of the info on My Life is totally inaccurate.  I just Googled people I know well and My Life confused lots of their information with other people.  Even the birthdates were wrong! I was wary of OP's choice of words, but when I looked people up, it definitely looked like a scam. [/quote]

+1  It is a scam.  My husband has a common John Smith type of name, and it had him listed as the wrong race, marital status etc.  Here's a DCUM post from last year that talks about removing your info from mylife and similar sites.  It took me about a half hour to request removal from 5 different sites, so not too bad.
