I was thinking the same thing.  While the area is very suburban (reminds me a lot of LOCO), there is a very nice museum with extensive parkland and a water front view literally right across the street.[/quote]

Newport News is not a college town. There's no cool restaurants/bars nearby.  Personally I'd choose Radford over going to CNU.
