The husband in the first episode isn’t the dick - his wife is. And I love how she asks about how not to letthe kids pull all their stuff out of the drawers and Marie says - I just tell them no...
She wasn't great, but he was definitely a dick. They both weren't winners.
what? HOW? the fact that he got sentimental when he found his wedding video - was it that that made him a "dick"? Or was it when he interacted so lovingly with his children? Jesus christ....
He was good to his kids but a condescending ass to his wife.
You are clearly not watching the same show. The only condescending ass was his wife. He couldn’t get a word out in their first interview, she kept talking over him and he was WRONG!
I was surprised they started the series with such a trashy couple. The woman seemed nice enough, but she was not appealing to watch and exuded just a trashy vibe. It was a turnoff, but Marie is so cute that I watched a few more episodes. Love the family from Michigan that relocated to LA. They were delightful and the kids in particular were sweet.
