We shall see. The parents of one girl have been in and out of the news for the past couple of years. They introduced their daughter to him and then said she was being held against her will along with other women. They look crazy introducing their daughter to him given his history and she said she is not being held against her will. The police checked it out and no charges. She is of age. The girl who met him during his trial was on The Real last year telling her story. If she was underage when they were together, it is a he said she said situation. She said she knew the story, but was such a fan and he contacted her after the trial. That is where he can dispute when contact took place. The ex-girlfriend in Texas described humiliating situations, but she was of age and a consenting adult. People/fans attack her as being disgruntled at being put out the house and being old enough to know better. Sparkle tried to get justice for her niece, but he was acquitted when the jury did not buy the story. He was not guilty on 21 counts. Double jeopardy in that situation. He married Aaliyah when she was underage, but the law excuses consentual things that go on in a marriage and she did not speak against him while she was alive, at least not publicly. We all know her mother is disputing the account in the documentary. Bill Cosby admitted to drugging women in a deposition, so jury could believe he also drugged Constand (sp?). There does not appear to be this sort of evidence in the R Kelly situation. Were there similar admissions with prior settlements? If so, did his lawyers have agreements in writing unlike Bill Cosby? That is how Cosby's deposition was included. The prosecutor did not have to honor a verbal agreement not to sue.

His ex-wife speaking out now is interesting. She should have gathered evidence, but it doesn't look like she did. We shall see.[/quote]
