Because you go to Europe to travel while a student. And then visit for business. And then have some vacations there married and then with kids to see castles and museums. And food and cafes. None of that sounds like a honeymoon to me. [/quote]

My view is less narrow. Why not any Caribbean place you love?  Thailand. Australia. Some one off Asian country with wonderful beaches. Greek islands. Just not Old Europe for me for a honeymoon.

Uhhhh...Greece is in Europe.

What you mean is that you want a beach/relaxing honeymoon. This is possible even in "Old Europe." They have beaches there.
