I had one. I went on a similar trip as OP's daughter as a teen and my mom did tell me she was tired of hearing about my trip. In my case my mom is a narcissit, but I didn't know that as a teen. As a teen I was just hurt and shut down didn't talk to anyone about anything. It's funny even as an adult occasionally that trip comes up in conversation and the first memory I have isn't of the trip, but of my mom telling me she didn't care to hear about it anymore.[/quote]
