Sound like your daughter doesn't know her way around the neighborhood? My 3rd grader is going out without parents. However, him and his group of kids from our suburban neighborhood are all over the neighborhood without parental supervision all the time, so if he gets separated he knows where he is.

You probably should teach your daughter some practical skills like where she lives and how to get around the block.[/quote]
