Yes. Every study has concluded that there are a few short term benefits and virtually no long term benefits to breastfeeding. Certainly not enough to subject your baby to marijuana, which does transfer in not insignificant amounts. [/quote]

For example, this one from May 2018 was a good overview of the literature since the year 2000, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29843260, and it states: [i] infant outcomes associated with maternal cannabis use and breastfeeding were reduced muscular tonus, poor sucking, and growth delay and restriction. Mothers should be advised to refrain from substance use during the lactation period for the health and safety of their children.[/i][/quote]
