[/quote] Yeah. 1/3 of registered voters in MoCo have no party affiliation (including me). If I voted "party line" it would for Floreen (indepednent), and the school board (non-affiliated position), and I wouldn't even get to vote for governor or congress![/quote] I’m actually an independent too. I vote for the most qualified candidate regardless of political affiliation. Voting down party lines makes no sense to me. [/quote] Voting on party lines makes sense for most voters, because most voters don't have the time to research their candidates' policy stance on every issue. The party identification indicates a likelihood of synchrony of views.[/quote]
