You want the Expedition EL if you want the cargo space + 3 row up.  Expedition (regular) has barely any cargo space with the 3rd row.  The new Traverse offers more than Expedition or Tahoe with the 3rd row up but the traverse is a 7-seater, not an 8.[/quote]

I just got a Traverse in July (first time GM owner) and I love it.  Mine is a 7 seater but you can get an 8 seater as well. If I had gone with the larger SUV I definitely would have gotten a Lincoln Navigator.  My kids were salivating over that one but it was just too big for me.  I took all 3 of my tall kids with me for final test drives because I wanted to be sure everyone was comfortable/could navigate the 3rd row.
