Elrich - Council President cannot raise taxes.  People keep saying Marc will raise taxes.  The County Exec CANNOT do this - would have to be unanimous among Council members.  Floreen will continue to build and pave over our county (infill) without regard to overcrowded schools or parks.  Marc is looking at these infrastructure items and wants them solved before bringing more people.  We've lived here 20+ years, and traffic is so much worse now, and with Floreen in charge, it'll continue to get worse.  Ficker? Really?   On what basis? He has made a living getting DWIs dismissed (because we need those drunk drivers back on the roads), and is so obnoxious, has been thrown out of professional basketball games and is proud of heckling players.  The guy is a nut job.[/quote]
