[/quote] The whole point of the magnet was to convince rich white parents to opt into desegregating depressed schools on the poorer side of the county. It was the carrot on the end of the stick. The other half got jealous that they weren’t getting carrots so the county had to cook the books to hand out some carrots to URMs. Just remember Banneker is a “magnet” school too. That might be where the level falls to at blair.[/quote]
