There was a woman in a Moms Club group I was in when DS was little who used a shared email address for EVERYTHING.  The husband would read and reply to emails that were specifically directed to her. He was a control freak in other ways—she had to go over every dollar she spent with him every night and if she went out in the evening he’d never put the kids to bed so she wouldn’t stay out too late. It was weird because she had a very strong personality in public situations.

Fast forward several years and the wife had an affair with her kid’s coach and the husband sent an email about it to the team. They sold their house and moved to another city.  We have mutual friends on FB and she’s with her husband in her profile pic so maybe they got counseling.
