[/quote] At our FCPS the PTA was hosting a coffee for parents after drop-off this morning, not the school. I do think the first day has become more of a thing since social media exploded and you saw folks posting the first-day photos of their kids. I can't ever remember having a photo taken of me when I started school in the 70s, but now it's just a thing.[/quote]
