OP here -- wow I'm getting nervous. I am charting, and I wouldn't say I'm stressed per se, but I am very tired b/c my little guy is a very early riser and I do a lot of hte parenting b/c my husband works a lot. We have been sure though to hit the timing right with CM and OPKs. My OB has offered me some testing once I hit the 6 month mark so maybe I should get that done.
OP - do not stress. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. This is NOT a representative sample of women - most women do not get pregnant right away. I suspect with these types of threads that a lot of the women who respond are the women who are the extreme one way or another, and more frequently are the women who conceived right away. Frankly, women who had a harder time trying don't necessarily want to talk about it once they're pregnant. Took me 11 months for my 1st, 6 months for the second, and 7 for #3. Get checked out at 6 months and in the meantime try to enjoy the baby making prcess.
Agree with this 100%. I'm the 31-yr-old that took almost a year. Sometimes it takes even normal, healthy couples a while -- even for #2 (and even if #1 came right away).
