Wow, I never said - nor implied - that the gender gap was larger. In fact, I reported the actual data. And your math is not very good. The ELA differential is 14 points (83 minus 69 equals 14). The female ELA score is over 20% higher (14 divided by 69 equals 20.3%). Maybe that does not matter to you but it matters to others, including me. Are you only able to deal (pun intended!) with one gap at time? [/quote]
