She'd be 9 swimming with 12 year olds. I agree it's good to be challenged! Maybe it won't matter in a few years, but at 9 it matters to her that she wins medals. Many of the 12 year old girls are the size of grown women. I think it puts the little guys at a huge disadvantage. I thought it was a weird rule. Just wanted to get a consensus if this is happening in bigger cities - if it's the norm...[/quote]
