Page 30 lists all ~30 candidates for at-large council race. I doesn't list their place of residence, but I'm assuming at laest 4 out of the 30 are _not_ from SS/Takoma Park.

Actually, a TON of those folks are also from Takoma Park and Silver Spring. But your analogy to business is flawed, because it assumes there is some sort of barrier to entry for candidates from other parts of the county. Are you ready to claim that the Montgomery County Democrats, and the broader Maryland Democratic Party, are systematically disenfranchising candidates who are not from Takoma Park? [/quote]
