I don't think it's that W school parents think Quince Orchard HS is Ganglandia. It's that Quince Orchard HS is in Gaithersburg, and there are people who think that all of Gaithersburg is Ganglandia. (They also probably think that all of Gaithersburg is east of 270...) Germantown is Ganglandia too, of course. QO isn't in Gaithersburg though. It is in North Potomac. It draws from some areas of Gaithersburg though. [b]Look on a map.[/b] It is pretty far from Gaithersburg and on the opposite side of the highway as well. It also draws from North Potomac and Darnestown. [/quote]

Yes I live in the Wootton cluster and the street next to mine goes to QO. And yes, we are far from Gaithersburg. Maybe 20 minutes or so. I don't think I've ever been to that area besides to get DD her permit. And when we had to go to Gaithersburg Middle School for a swim meet. Other than that I'd say most of QO is isolated from Gaithersburg and not even in Gaithersburg and most people probably have nothing to do with it. Similar to Travilah area with neighborhoods not really in a city but in a general area like Darnestown or Potomac. [/quote]

Huh? You’re making no sense. QO is in Gaithersburg. I live in Kentlands, which is also in Gaithersburg. Why are you so opposed to the reality that Gaithersburg is a diverse place that has both nicer and tougher areas?[/quote]

A lot of QO isn't in Gaithersburg. I don't live in Gaithersburg and a lot of my neighbors are districted for QO. Look up Jones Lane zone map. Some of those areas are definitely not Gaithersburg. [/quote]
