I suspect PP like many "business Republicants" honestly does not care who has sex with whom, as long they get tax cuts and deregulation.  To get that, they are willing to look the other way when their heroes go on about morality, gays, feminists, abortion, and (in the time before time) Lewinsky) "That is for the gutter" as Karl Lueger, Viennese politician, said of his party's antisemitism. IOW, as long as it wins elections, its fine.  They themselves can have affairs, whatever, just as Mr Lueger had Jewish friends.
