Shore Wars 2018: Cavs 2026 were 3-1 Cavs 2025 were 1-3 Cavs 2024 were 2-2 Cavs 2022 were 3-1 Not sure how this fits the theory that Cavs only enter "lesser" tournaments so they can rack up trophies. None of their teams won a bracket.
The fact that they would actually attend that tournament is all you need to know about the club. How do you think those teams would fare at a real tournament?
What, if anything, is wrong with Shore Wars? And if it is a less prestigious or competitive tournament, then the theory that Cavs only attend less prestigious or competitive tournaments so they can rack up easy wins doesn't hold up, because the Cavs didn't do well at this tournament.
Nothing is wrong with Shore Wars. It is a well run tournament with a lot of clubs competing. At lower age groups, who cares go out and have fun! But if your son's goal is to play in college, they need exposure as they get older - both to better competition and of course, college coaches. A basic, simple litmus test for parents new to the club lacrosse scene. How many college coaches does the tournament list on their site? 0? 5? 10? 100? Compare Shore Wars (they don't list any coaches attending) vs. say Crabfeast (over 50 D1 coaches alone, probably over 100 in total). Cavs has never played in Crabfeast. Not sure they will ever get invited.
