So I applaud this move. If you want to churn and burn a bit above grade level, AP is great. If you want to learn in depth, you need something else. You can still take the AP exam and do well--just get a review book to learn the format and you'll be fine. That's what the IB kids did. People pay for private school to get something beyond what public school can offer, and AP is not that. [/quote]
