Of course grandparents should be allowed to raise their grandchildren if a tragedy occurs. But again, be aware that if the grandparents is older than 55 when the grandchild is born, it is quite likely the child will experience the death of another parent figure while still a child. That is something to consider if there are other options, for the best interest of the child/ren. [/quote]
