My weight fluctuates a lot which is why I weight myself every day.
What is the logic here? My weight fluctuates a lot too, which is why I never weigh myself. I can tell my weight by how my clothes fit, and take measurements.
NP. I weigh myself daily, but don't worry about the number day to day. I use the Happy Scale app that makes a trend line of my moving average weight and use that as information. If my weight is spiking over a week, I know it's time to cutback on eating. I also try to ensure that I'm not losing weight too rapidly either because I'm an avid runner and that's a surefire way to give myself an injury. In terms of 4 lb fluctuations...I see that too. It has to do with dehydration (even if I drink a lot of water, sometimes if I go for a long run or spend a lot of time in the sun, or drink a bunch of booze, I'm weigh a couple lbs less), the amount of salt/carbs I've eaten, water retention from sore muscles from heavy exercise, and bowl movements (tend to weigh a little more on days I eat less fiber). Also I have weighed myself before and after a bowl movement out of curiosity (I know, super weird, but I was curiouis), and that can be 0.2-0.5 lbs right there.
