Thank you for sharing your situation. I am considering doing something similar except (asking a percentage of his salary) and forfeiting alimony. Do you think it's possible? I have a graduate degree but was either in school (he did not pay for it) or took care of the kids and worked part time most of our marriage. Also, if you have a lawyer you could recommend, I would be grateful. [/quote]

You will never get a percentage of salary. Percentage of buisness that was started during the marriage is a completely different animal. [/quote]
