My teen tells me everything and chose many time not to go to some home parties (she would attend birthday celebration, or go to the movie with the same company, but refused to go to several people's homes because of the alcohol). [/quote] Sorry but YOU are clueless. No teen tells their parent everything-just what they think their parents want to hear. Who then eat it up like you, and think they are superior parents. You might be a great parent but there is no more clueless comment than "my teen tells me everything." [/quote]
