Might our daughter miss having a sibling? Potentially, but we are confident her sibling would come at a significant enough cost, financially and emotionally, that it would outweigh any benefit.

There's also no guarantee a second child would be healthy, or would get along with our current child. We are blessed to have a healthy child. If our second child had significant medical needs, that would place an additional strain our family. It just doesn't make sense for us.[/quote]
