That is very sweet, Op!  Do you know what she likes?  Ie besides hiking?  For some women getting jewelry is great but, for me I don't like it and find it very boring ( I know I am not the usual women but then again my grandma liked getting stocks and bonds for her birthday!)    I disagree with the person who says a trip is not a present!  I love to travel so that is one of my favorite...or a show in ny.  Is she a Hamilton fan?  Maybe tickets to see that?

Op here. Yes, we have a lot of common interest, and I know her well enough to know what she likes. We are both very into running, hiking, going to spas, camping, concerts, etc. [/quote]
