Why can’t they just email the decisions and follow up with a postal letter? They could also put it on sis/ParentVUE. Time to use technology!
Several people handling a few thousand letters at the same time, it's better to do manually and put them in letters so multiple people can check and recheck. For SIS, only one person can have access to input/check.
Then you don't know how technology works and can bring wonder!!
Obviously you don’t understand the procedures and guidelines about SIS access by FCPS staff.
We may still have an app independent from SIS created for AAP application. It can allow teachers/AART to enter/identify gifted children, put in GBRS, take test scores feeds be it iReady, DRA or nnat cogat, has a parent portal for uploading sample works and put in referral/appeal statements, has an admin site to put in review comments, individual decision and generate the final decision, whatever is done manually now. When assigning files to reviewers, it makes sure they're from different schools or not their own children or relatives.... you add to it
There are so many families in FCPS that don't have access to computer at home believe or not. They can't change parent communication to all online for that reason.
How about letting AARTs help enter the paper submissions?
