I've posted before. We used Dr. Dahlgren for a WISC and WJ for my younger child (probably didn't need it; she wound up in pool and got in on first round) and WISC and psychoeducational testing for my older one, who is not in AAP. She's not the warmest person in the world, is pretty businesslike, and kind of freaked me out about my oldest's future with ADHD. But her report for him was very methodical and received compliments from both the developmental pediatrician and the school team that gave him a 504.
We have very similar situations. Dr dahlgren was brutally honest and I really appreciated that. Years later, I still re read her reports on both my kids, one aap, one adhd. Those reports have been spot on. Almost like a crystal ball with both the positives and negatives.
