NC is still very southern. Everyone asks what church you go to. There are an astonishing number of places that don't open on Sunday. Happy hour is banned.
Fake post. happy hours are banned? That’s the best bs you got?
What isn’t open on Sunday. I would only think locally owned restaurants and boutiques would close. I’m in nova and that’s the case here. Also malls and restaurants here (and I presume almost everywhere) also have limited hours on Sunday.
What? There are no blue laws anymore in Virginia, things are open on Sunday. I live in NOVA too. I have no idea what your babbling about with re to North Carolina, malls, and the UNC experience for the OP. If “you would think” that means you don’t know. I was in Chapel Hill two weeks ago, everything was open. Maybe you can start your own thread in Off topics since everything you’re talking about is off topic to the college forum and this particular thread.
Okay. Calm down. Didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers. Let me start by saying I DO agree with you. I meant..... Everything is open on Sunday. In NC and in VA. If there is anything closed in NC it is no different than here in VA. For example, malls have limited Sunday hours in NC (and Va). Locally owned shops may be closed in NC (and Va). I only say “I would think” because I do not know every local business. There are ones here in the town of Vienna where I live now that are closed today, not because of blue laws but because they choose to. And some are open. I “would think” (sorry, I can’t be definitive) that there are some in Nc that hacpve that same flexibility. I am just an anonymous person on the internet trying to offer a perspective. Sorry to offend you.
